Supplier photos can contain store names, watermarks, payment logos, feedback requests or shipping banners. Some are separate description banners; others are embedded in a useful product photograph.
Standard importing
The standard filter removes recognised supplier promotional content, but it cannot reliably identify every name or watermark inside an image. Gallery images and description images may differ, so inspect both. Limiting the number of imported images does not guarantee they are free of branding.
Optional AI image checks
Enable Check images for supplier promotions and store watermarks under Import settings → AI options, using your own OpenAI key. Clear promotions are removed. Images that are uncertain or unchecked are left out and listed for review. Checks can still miss watermarks.
This feature screens images; it does not erase a watermark, retouch a photograph or create replacement product images. If useful images are missing, inspect the review information and add suitable images you have permission to use before publishing.
Keep a clear, accurate product gallery. Review description images too, especially promotional blocks near the beginning and end. Enabling image checks does not retroactively clean published products.
