Set prices using the amount left after commission and other costs. Supplier markup alone does not show your profit.
Example 1: a £100 sale in a 15% category
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Product sale used for commission | £100.00 |
| WixWoo commission at 15% | −£15.00 |
| Remaining after commission | £85.00 |
| Illustrative supplier product cost | −£50.00 |
| Illustrative supplier shipping | −£5.00 |
| Illustrative amount left before other costs | £30.00 |
The £30 is not a guaranteed payout or net profit. Account for plan costs, promotions, AI usage, payment-provider charges and any other costs relevant to your sale.
Example 2: markup and commission are different
A £20 supplier product plus £3 supplier shipping gives a £23 cost. Adding a 35% markup produces £31.05 before price rounding. At 15% commission, the fee is approximately £4.66, leaving approximately £3.39 after that £23 supplier cost, before other costs. Review the final rounded selling price because rounding changes this result.
Example 3: two categories in one order
A £100 item at 10% commission incurs £10, while a £50 item at 18% incurs £9. The total commission is £19 on £150 of product value. A displayed blended rate does not mean both categories have the same rate.
